[Nana's Blue Back Porch]

WOW. The blue overtone captures the cool respite of shade on a sunny day. The reds and greens brighten the painting adding warmth and energy. The play of light and shadows that play through the painting adds a dynamic quality to the environment. I feel like I can almost hear the wind the trees and birds singing, and maybe the neighbors air conditioning cut on. lol. 
But really this painting to me, screams of wasting time at grandmas porch to escape the noisy adults. The texture of the paint adds a distinct interest to the piece. The leaves that glowing yellow from the sun. The tea on the table ready for guests. And the wicker that is alive with textures.
